By Dr. Stanton Hom

From the beginning of my career, I have been promoting a perspective on health that always gives power back to you. Most of us don’t think about the fact that our human sovereignty is stripped away in our dictatorial, patriarchal “health”-care system. I put health in quotes because we really have a disease management system. Which, by the way we should ALL BE GRATEFUL FOR especially on the life-saving side of things.

If you are listening to the Future Generations Podcast, you are going to become well-aware, I am not the only one who has this perspective.

And I must say, it is all about ‘perspective’ or in other words your BELIEFS about health and healing are drivers to your actions and are always at the root of your results – whether you express health or disease.

If you believe health comes from the inside, you will do everything in your power to build the terrain of your body – to improve the soil. And just like a regenerative farmer would, as you tend the soil and the microbiome of your own personal farm within, yourfarm has the greatest potential to heal and thrive.

Whereas if you believe that health comes from the outside – somewhere separate from you – you will look for solutions on the outside of you. Masks represent one major factors in helping in the fight against COVID-19.

To be completely frank with you, I am not a big subscriber to any one size fits all protocols especially if it includes mandates.

One question that I heard recently from one of our interviewees, Melissa Floyd – co-host of the Vaccine Conversation Podcast and host of the What they aren’t Telling you Podcast, is:

“How many studies/examples do we need to have from the other side to question, slow or stop mandates all together?”

This is very important because everytime I have tuned into the mainstream media, I have only heard one:

Fear.

And everything else springs from there.

Mandatory masks

Social distancing

Asymptomatic carriers

It is very important to realize that “asymptomatic carriers” is a thing BUT it’s not what the media wants you to believe. Asymptomatic carriers are HEALTHY people who are not expressing illness and who are not even contagious.

They may have an overgrowth of COVID but are not expressing clinical illness which is what essentially makes them incapable of spreading disease.

I have seen multiple videos highlighting the concerns of persistent mask wearing. Some on alternative media channels, some with medical professionals and one recently with a science teacher who titled the“Science Teacher Explains Why Children SHOULD Wear Face Masks For School”.

Don’t let the title fool you… this gentleman is speaking as if he is supportive of masks but the truth is he is showing signs of the dangers of masks and how he is hoping his video is not censored like so many others have been.

This is how people have strategized to prevent or slow censorship! He shows very clearly that within 10 breaths, carbon dioxide levels surpass 10,000 parts per million!

So you have a reference.

In an article written by Gao et. al., they tracked 455 people exposed to someone known to have SARS-CoV2.

Gao writes:

“455 contacts who were exposed to the asymptomatic COVID-19 virus carrier became the subjects of our research. They were divided into three groups: 35 patients, 196 family members and 224 hospital staffs. We extracted their epidemiological information, clinical records, auxiliary examination results and therapeutic schedules.”

The article concludes:

“In summary, all the 455 contacts were excluded from SARS-CoV-2 infection and we conclude that the infectivity of some asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 carriers might be weak.”

How many of them got it?

NONE.

Can you imagine that?

Read this study on social support (i.e. BEING WITH YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY). How many studies on social support do you think exist on pubmed? If you search “Social Support Immunity” on Pubmed, how many articles do you think come up as options? Just under 35,000!

And there is the whole point of this blog. Hugs.

Why do I care about this so much???

Selfishly, I want my daughter to meet her last great-grandmother.

But collectively, I want us to know that we have sovereignty here. We don’t have to let our elderly die in isolation and we don’t have to let our children go through life without a level of empathy developed primarily through facial expressions

So  I looked up hugs. And I found a really important study that was subsequently written about in this article in the Huffington Post

“The apparent protective effect of hugs may be attributable to the physical contact itself or to hugging being a behavioral indicator of support and intimacy… ”

Wait what? I thought we have been taught that we can’t be in close contact with anyone outside of our household.

Let’s break this study down a little bit further…

They took 400 people and did a full work up on them in the days leading to the actual experiment. They ensured they were healthy, had LOW antibodies (I will explain why later) and they interviewed each of them to understand simple aspects about their lives but especially if they were essentially receiving social support in the form of hugs or if they faced any mental/emotional distress.

Along with many of the things we have shared in the past, it’s all about how we intentionally drive better, more healing physiology.

Hugs have clearly been shown to improve oxytocin in the body, along with lowering blood pressure and salivary amylase (a marker for decreased stress in the body and improved immunity).

If we turn the tide of chronic stress in the body it creates balance in our nervous system and it is then able to respond in a more parasympathetic (rest, digests, relaxation) way.

So in the experiment, researchers INTENTIONALLY gave the participants cold and flu. Why is this important? We know we can give people cold and flu and we know the natural progression of disease. THey wanted low antibodies because they wanted to give the participants the highest chance of contracting the illness.

How many do you think got it?

Get this… this is SO IMPORTANT.

78% got infected (an overgrowth of the cold or flu virus) and of those, 31% got clinical illness (expressed symptoms and are contagious).  And what was the main determinant of the severity and length of illness?

Hugs. More hugs, Better Immunity.

What they do not discuss and what you will NEVER hear… is that 22% got NOTHING

They intentionally put the cold/flu virus in these participants’ nasal cavities and 22% did not get anything and only ⅓ expressed any clinical illness.

Here we are 6 months into the COVID-19 lockdown and what do we have?

Data that has clearly shown for months now that whether you look at death rate or case fatality rate, we are dealing with a virus that may be more infectious than the flu (except for CHILDREN) but highly less lethal even for the elderly population.

They did quarantine people in this study after they were intentionally given the viruses.

For 5 and 6 days for the cold and flu respectively.

Not 6 months as it is here in California.

The idea that hugs are immune boosting will never hit the media. The idea that my daughter meeting her 94-year-old grandmother will send surges of oxytocin throughout both of their bodies healing their bodies from the inside out will never hit the media.

My desire is for all of us to remember that it is a completely ESSENTIAL part of the human experience to be with our loved ones. And dare I say the alternative is  inhumane. People are dying in isolation and little ones are growing up in the same isolation.

The last thing I will leave you with is this…

Who do you think funded this study?

None other than the National Institute of Health’s National Center for Complementary and Integrative Health… with specific grants from National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Yes, Tony Fauci’s group.
