This month is incredibly special for our family.
We celebrate 4 years of serving this community in Escondido. Four years of witnessing miracles change lives, families healing, babies thriving, and people discovering that their bodies were always on their side … they were simply waiting to be freed of nervous system interference and the right environment to express their full potential.
And this year, our celebration carries even deeper meaning.
We’ve welcomed the newest member of our family- Niko Alec Hom 💙
We cannot believe he is here. And everyday. EVERY. DAY. Has been the biggest blessing.
This is our third baby born at home but the first here in Escondido. 5 years ago we knew we were going to move here. And 4 years ago we found our dream home amidst the maniacal housing market back there.
And now, we finally feel at home.
I am not going to share much about my wife’s birth experience because we are still very much basking in the glory of our son just being here. But I will share that she created the birth of our dreams.
And if you know our journey, you know there were many roadblocks and detours that she rose above. And he was born safely, peacefully and powerfully an hour before our midwife arrived.
More to share on that later.
But holding a newborn has a way of reminding you what is true.
Every single one of us is a miracle. Whether we acknowledge it or believe it or not.
Long before we had a name, a job, a diagnosis, or a story about who we are, we began as two half cells meeting in perfect timing. In just nine months, those two tiny cells become more than 26 billion cells. A nervous system forms. A heart begins to beat. Hands, feet, eyes, a personality… all without a mother consciously directing a single step.
Think about that for a moment.
Your body already knows how to create life, run all of you, and heal you.
It doesn’t have to learn to heal. It has to REMEMBER.
And before that first cell ever divided, you were the one sperm out of roughly 100 million and one egg out of above 2 million that came together at exactly the right moment.
The odds of you even being here are beyond comprehension.
You were never ordinary. Niko and my wife. Also not ever ordinary.
Every adjustment we give is rooted in that same truth: your body was designed with an incredible intelligence that is always working for you. Our role isn’t to create healing… it’s to remove interference so your body can do what it has always known.
As we celebrate four years together, I’m filled with gratitude… not just for the milestones, but for every family who has trusted us with their health journey.
